Aluminerie Alouette – Smelter Expansion
Aluminerie Alouette expanded its plant from 245,000 to more than 575,000 tons per year and is currently the largest aluminium smelter in the Americas and the 5th largest in the world.
DCM’s mandate included the installation of all electrical equipment (including liquid cooled busbars) and instrumentation systems for this project. Our crews were also commissioned to perform pre-operational verifications and assist during startup.
