In June 2015, DAWCO was awarded a new mandate as part of the Linde Process Plant project to increase LNG capacity at the Gaz Métro plant in East-End Montreal.

Work was carried out at the JYNT Fabrication Inc. workshop, a member of the DCM Group. The scope of the project consisted of the modular assembly of four pipe racks including the steel structure, each module measuring 60 feet in length by 14 feet wide by 14 feet high. Work also included the manufacturing of all piping. This mandate required the skill sets of three different trades, namely pipefitters, welders and labourers. The type of piping used was primarily carbon steel and stainless steel. The greatest challenge our workers experienced was handling piping of more than 70 feet in length.

After many months of work, modular assembly was completed and the project was delivered successfully and without incident. This project was a great opportunity for JYNT Fabrication Inc. to showcase its expertise!
