On May 1, 2017, DAWCO Construction Enterprises Inc. signed a 3-year construction agreement with Shell for projects at its Montreal-East terminal. Since the launch of the project, DAWCO has secured work on 3 different projects. In July, DAWCO was awarded a mandate consisting of digging, inspecting, and installing mechanical sleeves (subject to inspection results). This project is based at 3 different sites. Work is expected to be completed by the end of September. DAWCO was also awarded the Pump Additive project which kicked off in mid-August and consists in the installation of new skid pumps, piping, electrical and instrumentation work and structural work. JYNT Fabrication Inc. is responsible for all fabrication work. The project is scheduled for completion at the end of October. In September, DAWCO will start work on the VRU project which includes electrical and instrumentation work, specifically a change of lubricant technology at the Henri-Bourassa facility. Work is scheduled for completion by mid-October.
